My name is Sam Garcia, and I am a current Harvard Law student and the CCO (Chief Content Creator) at HeartWater. My whole job involves me collecting inspirational stories from everyday people about how they overcame an addiction, owned a condition, accepted their body type, pushed through a hardship, invested in themselves, or lost dramatic amounts of weight. After gathering and writing seemingly almost a hundred short stories I began to notice an incredibly interesting pattern. Almost every great story that I had heard about making a positive life change was structurally similar. This was a huge discovery. I felt like I could not keep this to myself. There are so many people who want to make a change but just have not found the right equation, and here it was right in front of me. So I decided to write Launching Point. To anyone struggling, wanting to change, or looking for the lasting inspiration to finally take a leap of faith I want to share with you some of the greatest stories of change that I have encountered. I hope to also dissect the elements that lead up to a Launching Point so that you may quickly gather what you need to reach your Launching Point and change your life. Perhaps the most interesting thing about reaching your Launching Point and changing your life for the better is that you are not the only one who benefits. People hearing your story of reaching that point and changing your life gain a crucial part of the equation to reach their own Launching Point. When you let your light shine you implicitly grant others the permission to do so themselves, and all of sudden the ripple you caused by changing yourself for the better has turned into a tidal wave of people making the choice to change their lives.
